Need for Digital Government Strategy II

In his debut column for InformationWeek Government, Mobilegov President Tom Suder says it is time for Digital Government Strategy II. Suder writes:  The Digital Government Foundation was an influential document that has moved the federal government in mobility and really fostered a level of collaboration within government rarely seen. Suder selected for Fed 100

Mobilegov President Tom Suder was selected for the 2013 Federal 100 Awards, a prestigious honor that recognizes government and industry leaders who played pivotal roles in Federal IT in 2012 and made a made a difference in the way technology transformed the government. It is the second straight year that Suder has been recognized by respected government IT publications Federal Computer Week (FCW), Government Computer News (GCN) and Washington Technology. In early 2012, he was selected as a Rising Star for his accomplishments in Federal IT in 2011. (Fed 100 list)

Suder named IAC Contributor of Year

Mobilegov President Tom Suder was honored with the prestigious Industry Contributor of the Year award by the American Council Technology-Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) for his efforts to foster government-industry collaboration on digital strategy implementation. ACT-IAC Executive Director Kenneth Allen praised Suder and other award winners for their volunteer efforts: “These are the voices of collaboration and action that make the ACT-IAC community successful in helping to improve government.” (Full Federal Computer Week story)

Suder to serve as chair of Mobile Government Conference

Mobilegov President Tom Suder will serve as Program Chair of the 2012 Mobile Government Conference, which will be held Oct. 22-23 in Washington, D.C. The two-day conference, which will feature two mobility tracks and more than 10 sessions, will be co-located with the Cloud & Virtualization Conference and the Cybersecurity Conference. Speakers for the Mobile Government Conference include Gwynne Kostin (GSA); Neil Bonner (TSA); Sanjay Sardar (FERC); Lt. Col. Suder to speak on Mobility Webinar

Mobilegov President Tom Suder will be part of an expert panel discussing Public Services Mobility during a July 12 Webinar sponsored by SAP. Suder to Co-Chair Fed Mobile Summit

Mobilegov President Tom Suder will serve as Co-Chair of the Federal Mobile Computing Summit, which will be held on August 8, 2012 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. The Fed Mobile Summit will examine the recently-released Digital Strategy from a mobile point of view and feature several government leaders as keynote speakers.
